A Father’s Worries

"I don't even know if she knows I'm here...
or if she can hear me."

Our prayers, attitudes, and outlooks have been similar. But a father's worries can be different. Alan has done an amazing job supporting me through this experience. It's important to make sure he is supported, too. This is a real photo of a real moment. 

Great news, Paloma can totally hear! *dances for joy* Her audiology tests (she had 2 within a month to confirm the results) revealed that she has mild-moderate hearing loss in her left ear due to a small ear canal, but otherwise she can hear fine. Small ear canals are another symptom of PKS, and they may or may not normalize as she grows, but regardless, we are very thankful.
